Our client, are an International Telecoms Consultancy who are currently looking for a Network Strategy Consultant to assist their clients in the evaluation and realisation of econimies of scale in strategic network planning and Group technology acquisition and purchasing.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyse network strategies, technology preference and infrastructure forecasts of client OpCos

• Review and analyse current purchasing processes and procedures support of Group level purchasing and technology acquisition

• Evaluate and recommend purchasing synergies and quick wins based on current netowrk strategies and technology choice

• Recommend alternative strategic netowrk and technology options for consideration to realise longer term Group technical and purchasing synergies

• Evaluate planning and design processes and identify Group Best Practices

• Develop and recommend methodology for profliferation and implementation of Group Best Practices across OpCos

Essential Qualifications and experience:

• Should have experience of completeing atleast 5 full life cycle projects.

• Should have extensive experience in network and technology solutions, planning and design.

• MSc degree or equivalent

• Combined experience from telecom operator, vendor and consultant.

• Broad knowledge across multiple technology areas, with an expected expertise in network architecture and planning.

• Up-to-date with next generation technologies in both core and access networks

• Demonstrated knowledge of network planning and design tools

• Financially astute with an ability to turn network and technology options into financial considerations

• Knowledge of operator purchasing processes

• Excellent presentation and communication skills is a must
