In the role of senior Technical Application Consultant you will:

• Contribute to different implementation projects

• Coach and train the customer during the whole implementation project

• Represent the company at customer site being a key point of contact

• Produce technical requirement documents and technical specifications detailing enhancements and extensions to our product

• Describe and deploy how the product should be technically configured to support the re-engineered customer’s processes

• Support the functional and technical analysts in our Software Factory on customer related project work

• Need to understand the customer needs by using your analytical skills

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Infrastructure architecture workshops (Prepare workshops, Act as Subject Matter Expert in infrastructure workshops, prepare hardware sizing’s (physical, VM, ...), Infrastructure Health Checks)

• Installations either remote or at customer site

• Configuration and integration set up and validation

• Technical training of customer’s administrators

• Support the customer upon roll-out

Qualification:

A degree in IT or (Business) Economics or Civil Engineering, or equivalent through experience. An IT background or aspiration is a must.

Required skills (must have), Necessary industry experience and associated number of year’s experience:

• Team player, flexible, accurate, hands-on mentality

• Strong customer empathy

• Knowledge of the Microsoft platform (SQL server, MSQM, MQ Series, ...) is a must

• Knowledge of banking business, in particular wealth or asset management is needed

• Experience in integration and/or development projects in the financial services industry

• Previous consulting experience is an asset

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Knowledge of securities order processes is an asset (FIX, Euronext,...)

• Knowledge of trends and changes in technology
